This New Testament was composed of three major parts: the Gospels, the Acts of the Apostles, and the Epistles. The Gospels tell the story of the life of Jesus, his birth, his childhood, his trials, his resurrection, and his ascension to Heaven. The Acts of the Apostles tell the story of the early history of the church, starting from the conversion of Jesus and the first disciples, up to the establishment of the church, the sending of the Holy Spirit, and the resurrection of Jesus.
